Pink and white envelops the child’s tearoom… A room with everything “their” size… Our “domestic” area includes a play kitchen and adorable ironing board & iron in a precious floral pattern. Our “dress-up” area consists of a child-sized armoire full of tutus in shades of pink and white, shoes of satin and sparkles, tea gloves, jewelry and more! High tea calls for extraordinary amenities, with special consideration. Petticoats and Petitsfours has provided the most unique child’s tea table and decor. A large white dining table has been specially crafted to fit a child’s height with a rose covered vintage chandelier draped above. Each setting includes Limoges teacups and saucers as well as full service teapots, creamers and sugar bowls from France. The glassware made by Mosser is a lovely pink with gorgeous delicate etchings and consist of the plates, goblets, punch bowls and more. These miniatures have been beautifully crafted in the same fashion for over 100 years. Vintage reproduction handkerchiefs serve as the girl’s napkins. Miniature beaded flatware completes the setting. The girls (as well as the mothers & grandmothers) truly appreciate the beauty of the room.
